Kasas City, KS

James and I got a call the other day saying that the president of our company wanted to take us to lunch to meet us.  So we met for lunch and Jeff was really wonderful.  Then he invited us to dinner and then to show us the Kansas City lights...... If you ever get there from Thanksgiving night to January you have to see them.   If I don't blog for a bit we are going home for Christmas and getting our camper set up to take on the road.  Yep, James and I will be staying in a camper instead of hotels.  So keep us in your prayers and thanks for reading and keeping up with us.  I will blog as soon as possible.  Love you all and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!

Turning Point Church of the Nazarene St. Joseph, MO

Another great church service and wonderful people.  We will be back in St. Joseph this next week but we will not get to visit the church.  Here are a few pics.

Sedalia, Mo hotel

James and I have been in alot of hotels over this past year and they are usually very nice but it is different when they are decked out for the Christmas season.... We really liked this one.

1st Church of Nazarene Arkansas City, Mo

God again opened up a wonderful church for us to attend this Sunday.  It was the "hanging of the greens".  It was really neat, the whole church participated in decorating the tree and putting up the decorations.  I even participated, they gave me a part to read about the Candy Cane and how it represents Jesus and how He died for our sins and rose again 3 days later.  It was wonderful.  James and I have gone into so many different churchs at this point but the one thing we do the same is that we treat them all like it is our home church.  We believe that is what God intended.  Ya know if we all can't get along down here how do we expect to make it to Heaven cause its gonna be a little longer then Sunday morning....

Rhema Bible College, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma

Rhema Bible college hosts a huge Christmas lights display every year in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.  This year was no different.  I believe I heard someone say that there was over 2 million lights.  I believe it.  It is massive.  If you EVER get around Tulsa, from Thanksgiving to New Years make a point to got to 71st or Kenosha Street (the same street).  It is so worth a trip.  It is free, they do have a donation box out.  There is a walking part and a driving part.  All of them are magnificent.  Sorry again the video I couldn't get to work but here are some pics.

Thanksgiving 2012

Have I mentioned lately how much we have been blessed?  Well, we have, I don't mean just James and I but all Christians.  We are blessed everytime we get to visit our family.  We are blessed everytime we get to attend church.  We are blessed with every breath we are allowed to breathe.  Every time we are permitted to wake in the morning and interact with our world.  We were permitted to got to our home church in Pryor, OKlahoma 2 Sundays in a row.  We got to spend time with our church family, Shirley a wonderful girl that misses us terribly.  We were allowed to meet children that we don't get to see that much.  We were blessed in going to see the Rhema Christmas lights in Tulsa.  We have heard 2 wonderful sermons at church.  I could go on...and on...and on.  Be thankful this season, and be giving "THANKS" to the Lord God Almighty who bestowes all of these blessings.  Here are a few pics... sorry but I am still not able to get the video to work.

Thanksgiving dinner at our home church.

Pryor 1st. Free Will Baptist church in Pryor, Oklahoma is our home church and we were so blessed to be in Pryor for the Thanksgiving banquet dinner.  LOTS OF GREAT FOOD!!!!! and friends we love.  We got to visit and we are double blessed we are going to get to come back next weekend again.  GOD IS GOOD... ALL THE TIME....AND ALL THE TIME...GOD IS GOOD!!! That is what our pastor in Kenton, Ohio says all the time and it kept ringing in my ears last night.  We got to listen to some great music at service yesterday and again love being home.

This next set of pics is a picture that hangs in the foyer at our church.  This picture is unusual because it is made up of all the church family.  Look at the "big" picture then I get "into" the picture.  James, Savannah and I are in the middle.  We love this.
