Drive to Massachusettes

Well we headed out to the next job...Massachusettes!!!!  Never been this far northeast before.  We took out of New Jersey, crossed bridges and in tunnels and it was really amazing.  Then over to New York state and we even drove thru part of Manahattan.  That was really neat! Worked our way over to Conneticut which was really nice because the interstate runs by the ocean, several little harbors.  Then over to Rhode Island... did I mention this was a really GREAT JOB????  Then we crossed over to Massachusettes.  We are just south of Boston.  We are not going to be able to go into Boston this trip but I am sure we will be back.  Boy, these people sure does talk funny....I guess maybe we are the ones with the funny accents...but I doubt it.haha  So we get to the hotel and it has a full kitchenet and it is really really nice.  Here are some pics, it is hard to get road signs of the different states but trust me I tried.  Well I hope you day goes well.  We are waiting to drop the trailor for this job and then we leave on Thursday to head back to PA.  We are hoping to get close enough to run over to Washington DC in the next couple of weekends.  That will be fun!  Well enjoy the pics.  We miss you all but are thrilled to be doing this job!!!!

God does some pretty AWSOME work!

New Beginnings of the Church of Nazarene of Edison New Jersey

I know that I have told you that GOD is everywhere... we this was a WONDERFUL service this morning.  There are some video's and some pics I hope the video's work because this was a wonderful service.  They had a wonderful Worship Teem.  I was sitting there as they were practicing and thought... what an amazing group of people.  This is the way it is suppose to be.  This is the way I see heaven.... this is the way we are all going to look like in heaven.  This church did not see ANY differences in each other they saw ONLY each other.

These men are a part of a group called , "The New Creation".  These boys  are a little hard to keep up with but if you can follow my camera work...they are amazing.  You may need to turn up the volume.

Ok so as if this wasn't enough they had a wonderful lady use flags again AMAZING!!!!! Her name is Ja'Nelle.  She is a very talented young lady.

Ok then as if we could hold any more the pastor or at least one of them got up and gave a wonderful lesson on how God uses the talents that He gave us to pass blessings onto others.  His name was OB.  Here is his wife and him.  Again the service was wonderful.

Lady Liberty

Like I said we have had a GREAT weekend.  We took the ferry over to the Statue of Liberty, not a lot to do over there because the statue was closed down for renevation.  So the only thing was to walk around the outside and take photos and then to pick up a little something from the gift shop.  But no matter how many pictures you see of her you really need to see her in person.  She is amazing!!!!. Also we saw the motorcycle that the Orange County Choppers made.  Also back at the trainstation where you get on the ferry they had a 9-11 memorial.  It is very solmen to  remember.  I hope the pics are helpful so none of us forget.

This is across the harbor from New York City.  The building on the left side that looks like it is silver in the bottom and black in the top...that is the Freedom Tower that is being built for the twin towers stood. Out next trip to NYC we are hoping to go over to the 9-11 memorial and into the city.  So stay tuned......

Ellis Island, Jersey City, New Jersey

WOW!! This has been a GREAT weekend!!  We started off taking the ferry to Ellis Island and then to see the Statue of Liberty.  AMAZING!!!!! The information on Ellis Island is unfathanable (I am sure that the spelling) Anyway, I have a bunch of pics but the stories on top of stories that the walls of this place has I could never tell you.  A couple of things that I guess I had no idea about was when the immagrants came into the building the doctors would do a "6 second physical".  If they looked at you and thought you were crazy, pregnant, had a disease, lame etc they would take a piece of chalk and put a letter on your shoulder for you to be "looked at" again.  If they decided that you had a disease or was crazy they would send you back to where you came from.  If you were fixable they sent you over to the hospital.  Again segregated from your family.  They have dormatories there if a family member had to be held until he was healthy.  One of the pics will show the different letters they would put on you.  The main hall is on the secend floor and it is very  humbling to stand there were all these hopeful and wanting people stood.  To see the pics and to read the stories you can't help to feel how amazing ALL of these stories truly are.

Pittsburg and playtime!!!

Again I have to say, "It amazes us that we are getting paid for this job!!!!!!".  James and I are in Pittsburg and we got to go the Carnegie Science Center.  It is so cool.  Here are some pics they had a model trail layout of P-burg and a real submarine but it was closed for the winter updates.  We got some outside shots.  Then we drove up to a look out point and watched the sun set and got some really cool pics.  There was a guy there from NYC/ LA he lived in both and he was a film director.  His name was Anthony Scardeki (sp?) and he was on his way to the Sundance Film Festival with Robert Redford.  We visited for a while and he is the one that took the pics of James and I with Pittsburg as the background.  Well, we will have to work tomorrow but that does seem fair doesn't it?????  Have a great week.
James and TJ

So can you name the robots?????

The little red car in the bottom of the pic on the next to the bottom pic was a trolley that went up the side of Mt. Washington that over looks the city and then takes you back down again.  It was really really cool.  Have I mentioned that we love our job??????   Well We DO!!! God has blessed us so much it amazes us every day.
