Natural Tunnel, Tupelo and new camper

Yep we are still here.... James and I have been several places since my last blog but we have not had very good internet so I couldn't upload any pictures.  SORRY!!!!! we have missed you all.  We have been to several parks and lots of jobs.  We are presently in Tennessee getting ready to be in Memphis for 3 months.  Yep we have 12,000 employees to test for one company.  BUSY!!!!! Our hours will be mostly nights so that will be fun.  I guess our most exciting thing well at least for us has been we bought a brand new camper.  Yep, we are high fulutin' folks now.  Our house not only has wheels but it has an electric awning!!! Woo Hoo!!!!  We miss you all but this is still the best job!!!  So be  happy for us.  We will have a 3 week "vacation" this year... that still seems funny to me.  Anyway that will be around the middle of September to the 14th of October.  We will be in Ohio.  Then we will be back for 2 weeks at Christmas.  Here are some pics....please excuse the mask, due to my allergies, I am having to wear a mask when outdoors.  This starts at Natural tunnel State Park in Virginia.

Hello Tupelo, here we come....

I had to put this one I told James it looks like a shadow crossing in front of me.

This is the house that Elvis was born in  it is a little wider than our new camper but that is about it.

This is the church that he started in.

Here is the new camper.... I will send pics later of the inside.  Just know that it is SWEET!!!!!

I'm still standing!!!!!

I AM SO SORRY....I have not talked to you since before Christmas.... I AM SORRY....

Well here is a catch up..
Christmas was GREAT, we really miss our family when we are on the road, we love this job and we are so very blessed to have this job so you can see the problem.

Our job is laid out like this...  we go on the road after Christmas and the next time we are scheduled to be "home" is in Sepetember of this year because that is our scheduled vacation time for this year.  We get three weeks off but we have to take it at one time.  So this year we picked September because that is when our neice is due to have her second child and she wanted me to be in the delivery room with her.  When my sister died, I was with Kelcy when Brylyn was born and I guess I did ok, cause she asked me to be there again.    Anyway after vacation we always get two weeks off at Christmas.  If we are in the area we can go home for the weekend but if we aren't close then we don't see them for several months.

So now we are on the road and we are in Carrollton, Georgia.  We have been to North Carolina, South Carolina, Birmingham, Alabama and back to Georgia.  We have been busy.  We have enjoyed it as usual.  We have met so many nice people and we have participated in some of the best church services.  Just here in Waco, Georgia we have been privileged to attend the same church for 5 Sundays in a row.  That is amazing for us.  So we were happy to particpate in the sunrise service at Easter and the choir here was wonderful.  We have made several friends at the church and also at the job we are working on .

As for back at home... Savannah is doing good, starting Monday April 15th, she and I are opening a cake shop in McGuffey, Ohio called... Savannah's Cakes your way!  I am the silent partner and Savannah is doing all the hard work.  She will do wedding, sheet, 3d and customized cakes.  She is so excited and we are happy for her.  We ask that all our friends to pray for her, specifically that this is the path that the Lord wants her to be heading.  Her and Bobby (the boyfriend) are doing well, I think he is actually going to make a website for her (I'll let you know).
Mom and Dad are doing very well, dad just got a hearing aide a couple weeks ago and I think it is going well.  The biggest news is that my dad at 73 years old was saved and baptised about 3 weeks ago.  PRAISE THE LORD!!!

Well here are some pics and I will try to stay up with this a little better....  Thanks for all who read this and if you ever want to contact us you can email us at tjcarter19@yahoo.com

I'm still here....

Well I just wanted to let ya'all know that I am still alive and well.  I have been home in Ohio for the last month.  The internet is a plague ready to devour our family so needless to say I could not get online.  Anyway, James and I have had a great time and a rough time... but the Lord has accompanied us all the way.  James had a cancer on his right ear removed so he recooperated for a bit.  Then my niece (Kelcy) found out that she is pregnant.  My dad had good days and a few bad ones.  Most of them he didn't know me or even mom.  Got to spend some time with my brother and the family.  My neice and her husband (Ciarra & Ben) bought a new house and it is really nice.  James and I bought a house near my parents.  So we did some deconstruction and reconstruction.  Got Savannah moved in and then spent a few nights there then had to leave.  We got alot of things done while we were there.  I will try to post pics but for some reason my cord must be bad I can't get the pics to download to my computer.  So alot has happened but I will send pics as soon as I can.  James and I are in North Carolina and traded back our work truck and trailor.  We also have the camper and our truck.  We are enjoying the camper.  We have alot of things to do on it but water, electric, bed and kitchen all work so.... we will survive.  Well I will try to send pics of the camper soon also.  Sorry for the hiccups. Hope to upload soon.  Take care and thanks for praying and following us.
