Not to busy...

Well I am happy to say that someone noticed that I hadn't blogged in a  while....I am so happy that someone noticed....hahahah

Well we have been in Denver, Pa for the last couple weeks at the same job.  We have got to sleep in the same bed for almost 2 weeks!!!!!!  James and I always call the hotel that we are staying at, "Home" cause we want to feel like we are just out to another day of work.  That makes us feel like we are just around the corner from our friends and family.  Well anyway, we are going to be leaving here on Thursday and heading to a couple more places in PA then we are off to Maryland.  We have been told we are going to be heading to Maine soon.  James is hoping that it is after the 20th (spring).  I just want to go I always wanted to go to Maine.  I am going to do some snooping around and see if we can spot some lighthouses and maybe a whale or 20!!!!.  Well we have gone to the same church two Sundays in a row.  That was nice.  Here are a couple of pics from the church and there was this kid there that I thought looked alot like Zac Efron.  His real name is Andrew and he was really a nice kid.  He is heading to Ireland for a choir tour.  He was all excited.  We hit the mall several times, we got our eyes checked and I actually got fitted for contacts.  Yep, I took the plunge.  I have worn them for a few days but I can see better with my glasses, I will keep them for those days that I really don't want to wear glasses but I would guess that will not be that often.  Well I think that is about it for now.  Sorry we have been so boring for the last couple of weeks but it has been nice for us to have some down time.  We went to several flea market/antique shops and we have just enjoyed the down time.   Our hotel is about 1/2 mile away from the job so that has been nice.  Even though the hours have been crazy.  Well, I guess you are all caught up.  We are hoping to be on vacation in July, we are hoping to be in Kentucky for the family reunion then over to Oklahoma to visit the other side of the family and friends.  Well we miss you all no matter if you are family, friends, church people or however you know us.  Believe me I have a long list on my prayer list....

Philadelphia PA!!!

Again I am here to tell you that I serve an AWESOME GOD!!!!  James and I are amazed at all the blessings that the Lord has blessed us with.  Here are some pics from Philly.... 1st was the Liberty Bell

Next we went to Independence Hall where they worked on the Constitution and then all signed it.

Here is the quill that was used to sign the Decloration of Independence.

Then we headed down the street to Christ Church.  This is where Betsy Ross, Ben Franklin, Thomas Jefferson all went to church here.  This church has not missed a scheduled service in 311 years.

This alley is the oldest residential street in America.  People still live in these houses.  There is a basement in each of these houses.  The ground floor was a shop then the people lived on the other 2 floors.  Each floor is about the size of 10x10 foot room.

 

Next we walked on to see Betsy Ross' house.  We were only allowed to take pics in the room where Betsy was visiting.

I had a great video of Betsy Ross but I can't get it to upload....sorry!!!!  Well we had a great time!!!

Checking out Boston

James and I had a few hours today between sessions at work...(that is a word we use very loosly for what we do).  Anyway we took a drive to Boston...That was really amazing!!!. Here are some pics of the buildings we didn't get out.  Have a great day.

Drive to Massachusettes

Well we headed out to the next job...Massachusettes!!!!  Never been this far northeast before.  We took out of New Jersey, crossed bridges and in tunnels and it was really amazing.  Then over to New York state and we even drove thru part of Manahattan.  That was really neat! Worked our way over to Conneticut which was really nice because the interstate runs by the ocean, several little harbors.  Then over to Rhode Island... did I mention this was a really GREAT JOB????  Then we crossed over to Massachusettes.  We are just south of Boston.  We are not going to be able to go into Boston this trip but I am sure we will be back.  Boy, these people sure does talk funny....I guess maybe we are the ones with the funny accents...but I doubt it.haha  So we get to the hotel and it has a full kitchenet and it is really really nice.  Here are some pics, it is hard to get road signs of the different states but trust me I tried.  Well I hope you day goes well.  We are waiting to drop the trailor for this job and then we leave on Thursday to head back to PA.  We are hoping to get close enough to run over to Washington DC in the next couple of weekends.  That will be fun!  Well enjoy the pics.  We miss you all but are thrilled to be doing this job!!!!

Atlantic Ocean

Ok again I tell you we have been busy this weeken..... James had never been to the ocean, so guess what we did... yep, we drove down to the ocean.  I hope your weekend has been as good as ours.

New Beginnings of the Church of Nazarene of Edison New Jersey

I know that I have told you that GOD is everywhere... we this was a WONDERFUL service this morning.  There are some video's and some pics I hope the video's work because this was a wonderful service.  They had a wonderful Worship Teem.  I was sitting there as they were practicing and thought... what an amazing group of people.  This is the way it is suppose to be.  This is the way I see heaven.... this is the way we are all going to look like in heaven.  This church did not see ANY differences in each other they saw ONLY each other. 

These men are a part of a group called , "The New Creation".  These boys  are a little hard to keep up with but if you can follow my camera work...they are amazing.  You may need to turn up the volume.

Ok so as if this wasn't enough they had a wonderful lady use flags again AMAZING!!!!! Her name is Ja'Nelle.  She is a very talented young lady.

Ok then as if we could hold any more the pastor or at least one of them got up and gave a wonderful lesson on how God uses the talents that He gave us to pass blessings onto others.  His name was OB.  Here is his wife and him.  Again the service was wonderful.
